Michael K Strub MSW
Style and Philosophy
Michael's style is personal and dynamic, drawing upon 20 years of counseling experience. Although he is trained in a number of disciplines, Michael lets the individual needs and concerns of his client determine his therapeutic approach. His office setting is casual and welcoming. Michael does not believe in distancing himself from his clients with a large desk or intimidating formalities. He is flexible as to the length and purpose of his counseling services. In some situations, clients need a brief, focused term of therapy to help them cope with an immediate crises. In other situations, clients need a steady, long-term relationship to resolve deep-seeded problems. Ultimately, his hope is to help his clients overcome their problems and meet their personal goals through the process of growth, healing and self-awareness.
With Michael's new endeavor- Cornerstone Vacation Therapy- he is able to reach out to his client's in a completely unique way. While in a typical counseling session Michael has broke down often intimidating formalities, he was eagerly searching for new and innovative ways to connect with client's needs.
